Project Coordinator - Harlow foodbank

  March 2009

Jacqueline Cotton has recently been appointed as Project Coordinator for the Harlow foodbank.  Jacqueline is excited about this new opportunity.

About Jacqueline

I have just become the Project Coordinator for the Harlow Foodbank and am very excited to be part of a project which brings churches together to help people and families in crisis.

I am married and have two children aged 8 and 5. We have lived in Harlow for five years and we are part of Gateway Christian Fellowship.

I became a Christian when I was a teenager through a school friend taking me along to her youth group where I had fun and heard about Jesus and decided to give my life to Him.

Since then I have been conscious of God's heart for people and especially people who  find themselves in crisis, and as I have experienced His love for me personally, I have been aware that He wants me to be involved with people expressing His love for them.

Since my youngest child started school in September I have been asking God what is next and after becoming interested in the Harlow foodbank as a volunteer really felt that this was an opportunity for me to become involved in a project which helps churches to work together to practically demonstrate God's love to those who are in need.
