I offered to volunteer to work on the garden at St Paul's Church and asked Betty if the church had a gardener. 

Betty told me that Ed was the gardener and we have since worked together on it.

I wanted to offer my help as ‘I don’t like to see an untidy garden’.  I used to have a nice garden before becoming homeless so I appreciate seeing nice grounds.

I have received so much from the Maybury Centre here at St Paul’s church that I wanted to put something back.  I have no money to give but can repay my thanks in this way

If anyone has any shade loving shrubs, they would be most welcome.  They can be dropped off on a Tuesday between 10am and 4pm at the Maybury Centre, preferably in the morning.
