Maybury - St Pauls 3rd Anniversary Lunch
On Tuesday 13th
May 2008 over 80 people attended a special lunch at Maybury-St Paul’s to
celebrate the centres 3rd anniversary.
The day was
very special as people came together in recognition of the valuable work that
the centre undertakes with a wide range of users each week. The cold
buffet lunch was excellent and was served to a packed crowd of visitors by both
staff and volunteers of the centre.

Before
proceedings could begin Gary Knott (Director of Community Services) gave thanks
to God for the work and the food. He passed on his sincere thanks and
appreciation to Liz, Sarah and their team of dedicated Voluntary Assistants who
help to maintain the service each week.
John Fiddes a
regular visitor to the centre since it opened commented…
Just a few lines to thank Maybury-St Paul’s and St Paul’s church for the
anniversary lunch to celebrate their third year of being open to help the people
of Harlow that are in need of support and interaction with one another.
Thank you also to the staff and volunteers for being there every week to talk
and assist everyone with their problems,
and help to point them in the right direction. We can never thank you
enough, from all of the people who use the centre and from myself.
