MRCT 10th Anniversary Celebration
On Saturday 10th November 2007 we celebrated our 10th
Anniversary at Church Langley Community Centre in Harlow.
Over 130 people attended this special celebration service which was well
represented by staff, volunteers, users and supporters of the charity.
Maybury Centre volunteers welcomed people at the main door as they arrived and
also coordinated the craft stalls and kitchen refreshments.
During the service a presentation was made by staff and volunteers from each
area of the charities work with many giving personal testimonies on their own
development and also the impact the work has had on vulnerable people living in
the local community.
Living Stones performed
Living Stones Drama Group performed “The Good Samaritan” drama which was well
received and the Revd Alison Taylor led some Living Stones Fellowship Group
worship along with members of the group. General worship was led by Catherine McGoldrick assisted by musicians from
several local churches which was really inspiring.
Special guests
Special guests Eliza Davies and Monika Szynkaruk from Poland (both now living in
the UK) shared their thoughts about the FULLIFE Poland work in Koszalin and
Slupsk and also confirmed the impact the work was having with disabled children
and adults in their native country. Both have been involved in the work
since 2003.
The celebration service was enjoyed by everyone who
attended and closed in prayer giving thanks to God for his faithful provision
over the years.
