Kellogg's visit to Harlow foodbank January 2012 Harlow Foodbank had a visit from Robert Halfon MP and Bruce Learner (Head of Corporate Responsibility & Partnerships - Kellogg's Europe) on Friday 13th January 2012 where they both spent time reviewing the work and meeting some of the Friday foodbank volunteers who do such a wonderful job at the warehouse each week. The visit was organised by Robert Halfon who commented: “I was delighted to present Harlow Foodbank with a cheque for £500 from breakfast cereal manufacturer Kellogg’s, plus boxes of cereal for Harlow Foodbank to distribute. This was a real highlight for me: being able to introduce Kellogg’s to one of Harlow's most entrepreneurial charities. Hopefully this will grow into a genuine partnership”. Bruce Learner from Kellogg’s commented: “To everyone at Harlow Food Bank – thank you for an inspirational couple of hours: I was so impressed by the professional way in which the food bank was run and by the passion, belief and commitment of the staff and volunteers. You perform such an important role, providing the most vulnerable people with food and you do it with great humility and sensitivity”
