Donating Food

_________________________________________

Thank you for visiting our food donations page!

We really do appreciate individuals, schools, churches, supermarkets and businesses becoming involved in collecting food for their local foodbank.

Give food is as easy as 123...

1. Check out our shopping list to see what we take.  These items allow us to make foodboxes that provide nutritionally balanced food for 3 days (approved by the South Wiltshire Primary Care Trust).

2. Please remember -

  • All food needs to be non-perishable, so nothing fresh please

  • Owing to safety and storage restrictions, food must be within its recommended 'sell by' or 'best before' date

  • The tins or packaging should not be damaged

3. Take your food to Harlow foodbank

  • We value donations large or small, but unfortunately limited resources means that we cannot collect donations unless they are in bulk.  We ask people to take their food donation to their nearest foodbank.
