Supermarket
collections are a great way of collecting food and engaging the whole
community in helping those in crisis.
We rely on
the help of people like you to make them work.
Could you volunteer?
What happens
at a supermarket collection?
A supermarket
gives us permission to stand outside and ask members of the public if they
could donate a food item to help those in crisis locally.
We give
people
shopping lists
showing the items we need most and they choose what they'd like to buy. We
then collect this from them at our collection point on the way out.
It's simple,
easy and effective and only takes a couple of hours of each volunteer's
time.
Could you help?
