Become a Church Partner

The vision for the Harlow foodbank is to encourage local churches to work in partnership with MRCT to provide a foodbank for people in crisis in Harlow.

What does it mean to partner with MRCT?

Regularly collecting food at your church for the Harlow foodbank
Coordinating a church supermarket collection day
Providing volunteers for the foodbank
Financially supporting the work and the ongoing expenses
Providing regular prayer support

Church Partnership Scheme

We would like to invite churches in Harlow to become part of the Harlow foodbank Partnership Scheme to ensure that JESUS name is embedded in and through the project. The Harlow foodbank is a Christian initiative which will be coordinated by MRCT in association with churches in the local area.

Churches can be involved as little or a much as their current commitment allows as we are mindful that much good ministry work is already being undertaken in Harlow, through the church and local Christians.

As Christians we have a great opportunity here to practically demonstrate our faith, unity and commitment with the Harlow foodbank project as we support people in crisis in our town and in the surrounding area.
